I've heard from some patients that had 5 incisions and then read posts from others that only had 3. These are all laparascopic surgeries, so what's the reason for the difference?

This is just a guess.

Every surgery is different so they are going to do the safest and most comfortable way they are used to. Also, I think the smaller you are in the stomach the easier it is too move around and operate with less incisions.

I have three that I am able to see and one in my belly button that I can not see.

I only have 1 incision (and I had no drain). It's 2 inches long, and goes right along the top of my navel. It's blends into the fold of my navel and my stretch marks hide it well. I'm so glad my doc did it that way. He's awesome! I thought they were all done with 1 incision. I just learned something new!

I have 3. It all depends on technique. Some can be done right through the belly button with no visible scars. Others are done with one to as many as eight incisions.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
