GA Girl Best in the World 4 Posted March 22, 2011 Hi I'm a stay home mother of 2. I've been able to lose weight here and there but in the end gained it all back for the last 2 month I have been watching what I eat and exercising and the scale hasn't moved. I'm at my highest weight ever and really in need of a new approach so I want to have VSG I been following some of the forum and I think I would want to have surgery with dr Kelly in Mexico. My BF thinks I'm crazy but she doesn't know how I feel because she doesn't have a weight problem. She still looks the same as she did 12 years ago when we joined the military together with very little effort on her part. I'm miserable and very unhappy with my weight. My self-esteem is almost nonexistent I don't comb my hair or look in the mirror and I hide in my house from a world the judges me and can't see the beautiful me on the inside. I find it hard for me to go place I just feel like everyone is staring at me and talking about me the feeling is overwhelming (can't stop crying) this is so unfair to my husband and kids. I want us all to live full happy lives. Despite my effort ( walking and eating right) I have found it extremely hard in my 30s to move the scale in the other direction. I have chosen to have weight-loss surgery. Vertical Sleeve Gastromectomy VSG. I have done some research and feel this with continued diet, exercise, and family support will help me with my weightloss goal. Im both Happy and scared with the decision I've made...
