Grats Natesmommy :clap2: You are doing great :huggie: I just want you all to know how much I appreciate all of you who participate on this thread and lend support to me and everyone else here. This is the first thing I check on when I get home and before I leave in the morning. I want each of you to know that I am emotionally invested in your success as well as mine. You all keep me from gicing up and eating the crappy junkfood when I come home dead tired. Thank you and **HUGS**
Elisabethsew 50 Posted September 2, 2006 Well, it seemed to take FOREVER but I am finally a member of the club as I kicked the 300's to the curb and am at 298 pounds. So many of you are doing soooooooooooo well. Congratulations!
A1ikou 0 Posted September 2, 2006 Hi all, Took a while of stopping and starting and so I was really strong and stayed off the scales for a while...paid off! I am now a resident of twoterville and as of last week was 294lbs. Now I'm here I am determined to have a good visit and look around but ya know at somepoint I will just have to creep out and see what other places are out there. Not yet though, for now it's just nice to be here

I'm due to have my first fill on 28th September?? wheres the current list so I can add myself??
LapBandit 5 Posted September 2, 2006 Waterlily, you are so sweet. I love this thread too, thanks for starting it!! Elisabethsew and A1ikou-congratulations! welcome! yippee! indianlight, cool, I've added you to the list! I put down a 28lb goal but feel free to update that if you decide to change your goal. PS-What in the world is a "stone"?!! I hope everyone got through Ernesto OK. We've had a lot of tree damage and many businesses lost their billboards/signs but I think overall we faired OK. He packed a bigger punch than I think anyone expected...it was a little scary yesterday!
LapBandit 5 Posted September 2, 2006 Here's our current Christmas Goal 2006 list. I'm keeping a spreadsheet so I don't lose anyone and I sorted it alphabetically so it looks a little different. LapBandit 5 Posted September 2, 2006 OK, OK, I know I posted the past 2 messages but...I was cleaning out my closet and I'm curious if anyone is interested in some 26/28 clothes. If you are, just PM me and I can tell you what I have. I'll pay for the shipping, I'd just be happy for someone to use them. (I would describe them as your basic Walmart sorta clothes. Nothing fancy, but there are some "business casual" things that I've worn to work.) If you're interested please let me know. I figured I'd offer before throwing this stuff away. A1ikou 0 Posted September 3, 2006 Thanks for your wishes A stone is an English unit of weight measurement. It is 14lbs for each stone and even though I talk pounds with most of you and kilos with others, I still think and relate to stones LOL. Can I be added to the Christmas goal list please? I'm 294lbs right now and by Christmas morning I would love to be...160...no!?!?!?lol Oh OK My Christmas wish is to be 240lbs and I'm gonna work damned hard to get there (however I have no idea what my body or my band have to say about that :phanvan ). indianlight 2 Posted September 3, 2006 Hi all, its sometimes difficult to remember that most of you are american...are there many brits on here?? I always think in stones and pounds but my sugeon does kilos and i'm often confused!!! I think ive put on 2 lbs but I have my TOM, I don't get it very often, could that be the reason for the gain??? somebody please say yes!!!
LapBandit 5 Posted September 3, 2006 Oh yeah...TOM does a job on your body. I can "gain" 5 pounds but it's Water and when TOM goes away so does the 5 pounds. I wouldn't worry about the gain until TOM passes.
indianlight 2 Posted September 3, 2006 Lapbandit, Thank you SOOOOOOOO much, I'm a lot happier now!! I have a friend who is trying to lose weight without a band and everytime I get weighed she goes very quiet(don't think shes happy about my weight loss, while shes struggling!) But today when I got weighed and she saw I'd gained 2lbs her whole face lit up!! anyone else experiencing this with 'friends'??
waterlily1072 5 Posted September 3, 2006 Good Morning down to 306 Thanks for defining stones for us learned something new My friends have always been supportive and thankfully cheer for every pound and always tell me how great I look. I think I look like a giant extreme pear. My top is so much smaller than my bottom, lol. Ah to look proportional
