fullhandsfullheart 1 Posted March 13, 2011 The belly...the hangin down grossness. I've lost 40 pounds...2.5 mo out. I can tell I've lost weight in my face and neck/chest area, and my clothes fit better adn down a size. But that Gross dang belly. What's it called? The Pannus? When will it shrink?? It's just as thick and hangy and doughy as ever!!! It really bothers me!
FatJuicyMouse 1 Posted March 13, 2011 Oh, boy, do I hear ya! My belly is the one thing that makes me think I didn't really lose 50 pounds. It seems to be just as big, just droopier and more pillsbury doughboy than before. My pants get baggier than hell around my butt and legs but my gut says I ain't movin' down a size till I look like I am wearing 30 day shi**ers. When I sit down, it STILL looks like I have another (bigger) set of boobs under my 36 longs. Makes we wish I could get lipo!
myrori 55 Posted March 13, 2011 I fear that it may never go without surgery. My daugther still has it 7 months post bypass, and I don't even want to describe mine 3.5 month post op and 4 sections and a gallbladder post. It is enough to make me want to get a Tummy Tuck NOW! Rootman 1,101 Posted March 13, 2011 This is called Dunlop disease, your belly dun lop over your belt It MAY or MAY NOT "go away" depending on your skins ability to shrink with the weight loss. Each person is different with some having very supple skin that shrinks with weight loss, some's skin will not shrink and gets baggy. Only time will tell.
