Great for you! I am getting sleeved March 28th and I hope to have as great reactions as you did. Keep up the good work!

Melissa

So I got sleeved on 3/9 and I have to say this is nothing like I was expecting. I have been virtually pain free, except for the gas. Walking isn't bad, it actually feels good. I hope all my other March sleevers have as easy of a time as I have! Good luck to all those waiting.

Except for the first 72 hours post-op, my recovery has been a dream. No pain, no problems to drink or eat. Easy peasy and awesome!

Good luck to all of you going in this week!!

It is SUPER encouraging to hear how good you are doing! I am March 14th and actually feeling a bit more calm than I did the beginning of this week. At the beginning of this week, I was thinking of not doing. I am doing this pre-op diet, so why can't I just lose the weight on my own. Today, I don't feel that at all and I am ready to do this. I guess what I am saying is, I am all over the place! I hope I have as good a recovery as you do!! :)

Those thoughts are COMPLETELY normal! I was thinking the same thing. I made the 2 week diet why can't I do this on my own but then I thought of all the times I failed and remembered why I made this decision. I did good 'nerves' wise til I got to the hospital, that's when the OMG of it all hit me....LOL

Listen to your instructions and you will do great. Good luck can't wait to hear about your update.

I'm on Day 4 of preop diet. Going great here. For some reason, the liquid low-cal, low carb diet was easier than expected ( approx 500 cal/day and less than 25 carbs). Good luck on 3/15. Mine is 3/16.

Congrats! That's wonderful hear! I've been needing some encouragement lately. I get sleeved March 15th, and I'm getting very nervous. Ok, Marchies! We can do this. How is everyone doing on their pre-op diets?

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
