tntransplant06 20 Posted March 8, 2011 Eat jello....in large amounts. Jello will feel like you're full, but goes away fairly quickly, so eat more.
Day Dreamer 23 Posted March 8, 2011 What kind of shakes are you drinking? They may not have enough Protein in them and that is why you feel hungry again. Give us a break down of what you eat/drink (protein count) and when - that should help to figure it out!!

I would recommend finding a higher Protein Drink and that will help a bit. The Jello is your answer as well as much Clear liquids you desire. Sometimes hot chicken broth can hit the spot. Each day it gets a little better on the pre op as you rid your body of carbs and the stomach gets used to the new diet. Just think, every day is one day closer to your healthy new life! ILKrista 36 Posted March 9, 2011 I found that days 4 & 5 of the liquid preop diet were the hardest (I had to do 14 days of nothing but Protein shakes). At one point I even thought the cat food smelled good. But once you get beyond that, you cease to be hungry... at least that was my experience. Good luck! JamieLynn77 1 Posted March 9, 2011 The first few days were pretty intense for me. I coulda threw mustard on my arm and just chewed away haha. My Protein Shakes were very high in Protein, the body fortress from wal mart is great! and i had a rescue bag with me that had sugar free gum, candy, and crystal light packs. anytime i felt the munchies creeping up, i dove into that and it worked. after a while, it got way better. i ate broth like mad. but it was all worth it. Good luck to you!!
