Okay, this was difficult as I had to go searching for before photos. I've come to realize I avoided the camera at all cost. Kind of sad now that I think about it. Anyway, here they are. Before my sleeve - Nov 2014. And 2 months after my sleeve - July 2015.

HW - 304

SW - 275

CW - 220

Sleeved 5/11/15

I'm eight months out from surgery and have surpassed my initial weight loss goal. I may lose a little more. I'm trying to talk myself into maintenance but it's hard to make that transition

I'm 35 years old. Sw: 250. Cw:123. Height 5'6

Then:

At 130 lbs:

I've lost a bit more now. Definitely very close to the least I want weigh.

You look great. I guess if you are only 7 months out, you have not had any plastic surgery done? Your arms look amazing.

I have a question I don't quit weigh enough for the surgery but have some of the other issues that may qualify me for the surgery. The question is, is how many times do they weigh you? And when first consultation, right before the surgery etc... if they make you diet before hand what if you lose weigh? Do they weigh you again?

I don't have barely any loose skin. A little bit I'm reallllly thin right now. A little on my legs if I bend then a certain way, tiny bit on arms but not noticeable. What I do have is on my stomach but I've also had two huge babies! I'm very lucky and won't be getting plastic surgery. Maybe some day a Tummy Tuck but not in a rush

My doctor weighed me one time at the first appointment. That is the weight they submitted to the insurance.

They weighed me again but it didn't matter that time because I'd already qualified

Before the surgery (These pictures were taking about 5 to 6 years ago when I was really close to my heaviest weight)

Around 2011

Around 2010

After the surgery (These pictures were taking tonight. I'm about 8 and 1/2 months post surgery. I'm down about 16 inches from the waist time a year ago.)

Edit:

Just realized the picture where I am in the green shirt and jeans, well the after surgery pictures I am in those same jeans that I was in the before pictures. You can totally see how I don't fit them anymore.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
