Georgia 2,908 Posted September 11, 2013 I'm 57 going for my consult. Next week. Do you have any advice? That was my age when I was sleeved in 2010. I didn't t have any issues other than the normal. I was very tired for longer than younger people I think but I lost easily and quickly. Good luck to you! Keep us posted on when you are scheduled etc b

You will do good good luck to you 2 wandaw111 and Debra Rodriguez reacted to this
micheleC 18 Posted September 13, 2013 Surgery was 9/10. Came home today. Feeling pretty bloated, I am retaining fluids. No nausea, vomiting, weakness or dizziness. My surgeon found a hiatal hernia and fixed it. I am grateful he saw it and hopefully I will never have trouble from it again. I never dreamed that I would have a hernia! It just makes it a little difficult to get a deep breath. I am working on the drinking, sipping. You know, it's not that easy to do. I do get air, I just have to burp it. So far, so good. will keep you'll posted. 1 wandaw111 reacted to this
