AMLP 4 Posted February 22, 2011 HI, I am trying to find a Calcium supplement you do not have to divide into three or more doses a day if possible. I have tried Celebrate berries and cream chewables and did not like them. I can swallow pills, even large one no problems, I just want to make sure I am taking the right kind so I am looking for everyone to please tell me what type of calcium you are taking and at what dosage. Thank you to everyone who responds.
myrori 55 Posted February 22, 2011 At one month I was able to swallow pills really well so I just bought calcium citrate at Walmart. I got 500 of them for 6 dollars. I will continue to order my Vitamins from Celebrate or Bariatric Advantage, but for Calcium, Iron and b-12 I am going generic.

KabinKitty 11 Posted February 23, 2011 I purchased a liquid calcium citrate from Swanson (which advertises on this site) and we have taken many of their Vitamins in the past. I tasted it on my finger at first and it has a super strong, lemony flavor. I knew I couldn't stand it straight, so I mixed it with some Water and even a little sugar, as it was very sour, and drank a small amount. Immediately it felt like it was burning my stomach! It scared me. The directions say you can mix it with your juice, but now I'm a little afraid of what it will do to my stomach at 21 days after surgery. So, bottom line I would be careful of this product.
Roseib 13 Posted February 24, 2011 I use the Celebrate Calcium plus 500 (3x daily). I like the cherry tart flavor. The Bariatric Advantage chocolate chews are good but only 250 gms so have to take 6 a day.
