Ive read alot about how people put Injury in there coffee for a lightner and flavor boost to cover the decaf... I tried one scoop and it sat like mud on the top and certainly didnt lighten it much lol

So the question is anyone do this?? And if so how much do you put in or how do you do it so its normal.. Im trying to use the vanilla Injury to replace my coffeemate and cover the Decaf taste..

Thanks!

you might want to check on the box because some people have had problems with mixing it. It seems after really high temps it don't mix well. I would cool down my coffee quite a bit and when you get it mixed up then heat it back up...just my thoughts. I believe they said any thing over 180 degrees will not mix well..

I was told to let the coffee cool to room temperature, then mix in the Protein and microwave it in 30 sec. intervals until it's hot. The friend who told me said that if you put it in hot coffee it turns into sludge.

I brew a cup and stick a cooking thermometer in it. Then I use unsweetened Silk soy milk to bring the temperature down to 130 degrees (the instructions state specifically that it will clump if you use hotter liquid). Then I add the scoop of powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury and let it sit for a moment, stir till all mixed, THEN LET IT SIT AGAIN for 10-15 seconds and then stir again and it gets reallllly smooth. Enjoy!

Oh and I also make iced protien drinks Unjury too.

Brew 1 cup coffee and let it sit till it gets to room temp. Mix in Unjury till smooth. Add 1 cup unsweetened soy milk and 3-4pumps sugar free Syrup of your choice. (I really like hazelnut or vanilla bean)

Pour over ice and enjoy!

Hope this helps. I make one of these pretty much every day and love um!!

Thankyou all for your responses, It was so odd how I would mix and mix and it would never mix in with the coffee and always sit like sludge on the top of the coffee and taste awful! Guess it does make perfect sence about the heat guess I didnt really think of that at all..

I cant wait to try it cooled, I prefer ice coffee over hot anyway... THankyou BonnieJune That sounds delicious!!!

I well mix the Protein Powder in cool soy milk first, then add it to the not super hot coffee while mixing with a spoon fast. It seems like the cool soy helps protect the Protein enough to allow it to mix while the coffee cools down a bit from the soy.

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
