Eating Concerns

Recommended Posts

I am 2 weeks and 4 days out and I am on regular foods now. Every time I eat now though I think that I am overeating, actually I am scared shitless that I am. What food I do get I get very small ammounts, 1 cheese stick, 1 pudding cup or if it is a homemade meal it is 1 tablespoon and I never finish what I get, but the pudding or cheese stick. (none of that is at the same time mind you). Has anyone else gone through this? Is this somewhat expected?

My doc said no more than 2 oz at a meal this early out. I measure it out, and if I finish it, fine. If not, fine. This way I am sure I am not overeating. I am still having Protein Shakes because I can't get in all the Protein from regular food. If you are drinking enough, getting your protein in, and the most food you eat is a pudding cup I am sure you're okay and not overeating.

You will find you can eat a lot more soft (slider) food than you can dense food (chicken breast). You are NOT over eating.

Measure out your calories and it will reassure you. You can use fatsecret.com. they have every food and portion known to man on there.

You are aiming for 6 to 800 calories a day.
