Brielle 0 Posted February 10, 2011 I have been sick these past few days with flu-like symptoms. My doctor told me to drink, drink, drink! She said Gatorade or something else that replaces electrolytes. I don't like Gatorade and I don't like Powerade Zero. I just like plain ole Powerade! I have looked at the nutrition facts and 50 calories doesn't seem so bad. Has anyone asked their surgeon about Powerade? I love it, and I need something to stay hydrated... I don't wanna be back in the hospital for dehydration!
klus263 9 Posted February 10, 2011 In my opinion, if Powerade is what you can drink and this is giving you fluids while you are sick. Drink, Drink, Drink. Keeping hydrated is the most important.
AutumnLily 77 Posted February 10, 2011 Only other thing I can think of is Pedialyte. It has less sugar and will provide the electrolytes that you need.
Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted February 10, 2011 I say drink what you like! If you're sick, you probably aren't eating a bunch anyway. You can count calories later!
