chasnurse 0 Posted February 9, 2011 Hello from charleston sc. I would like to say thank you to start off with. I have been reading the forum for over a month now doing research and trying to decide which procedure I would chose. I have been battling obesity all my life, and have been on the diet rollercoaster for over 5 years now, and me and my husband have tried getting pregnant for many years now. I am happy to say I have chosen the sleeve, and I had my first appt with the Surgeon on Monday, and he agreed that the sleeve would best fit me. I also feel very lucky, because our hospital just began a bariatric program, and they are offering employees surgery first, and our insurance covers it. I have read so much, and many folks have waited years to get to the point I am now, and I have only just started in the last month, and the predicted surgery time is in march sometime.
