nightingale2u 42 Posted June 20, 2006 Well... You already know this ... circuit training but with weighted machines. Oh... and I keep my ice cream really frozen hard so that I have to use a lot of muscle to get it out of the carton.
NJChick 3 Posted June 20, 2006 I haven't picked up my little pink dumb bells in a while but the back of my arms are starting to yell HELP!!!! so I guess thats what i need to do. nightingale2u 42 Posted June 20, 2006 Ohhh.... and I had some stretchy bands that work great for the reps... especially when you are doing walking videos. Some of Leslie's older Walk Away the Pounds videos used them... they really work great. I have a little pink one for my daughter so that we can work together. LapBandit 5 Posted June 29, 2006 First of all, I never thought that "I" would ever be able to comment on an exercise thread so that's a NSV for me but anyway...my bariatric center built a special gym for their patients. They even provide a trainer! I love it and I really enjoy strength training. I use a little of everything then I do alternating days of cardio (walking mainly). I've recently been able to increase my weights on most of the machines...cool! I have to work on my endurance though...when I go to the gym I workout with the machines for close to an hour but cardio days are only about half an hour. I guess it's better than nothing, right?
