mbridgeman27 0 Posted January 30, 2011 I was told to only take a chewable Multivitamin complete for the first month. After the one month I would be started on Calcium, b-12, and Iron. Is this the norm for anyone else? It seems as if other post op patients start on all their Vitamins right after surgery. I'm confused!
Foxbins 625 Posted January 30, 2011 I started Vitamins on day 10 post-op, and began Calcium and B-12 day 14. I'm not taking Iron as I am post-menopausal and will wait to see what the 3 month labs say.

TStew 25 Posted February 1, 2011 I haven't started Vitamins yet as I'm barely 4 days out and still pretty queasy. Just wanted to let you know that I found liquid Centrum at Walmart. Centrum is not a very high quality Vitamin but better than nothing! I also found liquid (spray) Vitamin D and Vitamin B12 at Mercola.com.
