2muchfluff 1 Posted January 27, 2011 I am looking for a low carb Protein Bar recipe. I may just have to experiment if I can't find one that sounds good. I have found a lot of recipes, but most are super high calorie, or high carb or both. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
2BSkinny 0 Posted January 27, 2011 I'm hooked on the South Beach Living Crispy Meal Bars. They are all good but I especially like the chocolate Peanut Butter. They are packed full of nutrients, 12 grams of Protein, have 180 calories, 5 grams of sugars and 25 grams carbs. I know the carb count could be better but I have not had a problem losing weight eating this bar everyday for Breakfast.< /p>

wareagle40 3 Posted January 27, 2011 Sorry, I don't have a recipe for you. Just thought I'd give you a suggestion of something to try.... the pre-op diet my doctor gave me said be sure and count only net carbs. I don't really know how to do that but the adkins tells you net carbs. It may show 25 carbs on the back but the front says only 2 net carbs. so you may want to google net carbs and find out how to figure that. Hope that helps.
