What happened to the Pre-op/Post-op sections?

Recommended Posts

Anyone know what happened to the pre-op/post-op sections of the forums?

It seems odd to lump all pre-op and post-op discussions together under a generic "general discussion." We all have a different focus and needs depending where we are in the process.

Problem with VST in general, is that you get no forum assistance when you ask a question. Except from others on here who have learned as they go.

But actual, official technical assistance doesn't exist here.

So, I figure either those two sections are just gone for good, or they will just reappear with no explanation.

You can send a private message to Alex owner of the board. There is no guarantee he will answer, but I have to say, he does usually answer me.

I sent a message using "contact us" late last night. I sent a message about something else at the beginning of the week and got a personal response, so I am hopeful.

Last night I went on because I had a question I really needed to answer. I did a topic search and was really happy to see a lot of thread related to the topic. Unfortunately....all the threads were in Pre or Post which meant they could not longer be accessed. I was really bummed!

Glad to see that someone else is wondering as well... I totally HATE the new organization of this site. No longer that friendly feel... I'm lost here.

I hope ALEX changes it back... or I probably will not be such a frequent visitor as I can't find anything.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?
