Bfast: leftover veal canneloni from yesterday

Snack: apple, piece of chocolate

Lunch: yogurt, piece of pizza

Snack: Protein bar, couple of fresh strawberries

Dinner: we're going out to a dessert place, so probably some sort of cake or something

Good day all! Really need to figure out a new sleep schedule with this time change! My whole house is in chaos because of it!!

Anyway, got these new Breakfast 'cookies' from Market Day at my son's school, the stats are pretty good, and i'm just about half way through one and I am stuffed!! I think if it had a bit more Protein it would be so much better!!

So here's what's on my menu for today:

B- Ultumate Breakfast Round

L- chicken salad with 11 pretzel crisps

PM S- yogurt

D- no idea

vites- left it at home :(

water- on my 3rd cup of tea, freezing today!

exercise- maybe a walk later!

Hey there! It has been requested that we add how far out we are so newbies and judge what they should be eating! Please try to remember! LOL, i will try my hardest!!!

Today's menu: I am 5 months out! band to sleeve revision.

B- UBR and tea (lots of tea)

L- 2.5 oz deli ham and 1 slice of cheese & cantaloupe and strawberries

S- yogurt

D- going to a fundraiser for the boys school, it is at a pizza joint, but i'll get a chicken breast or something.

vites- forgot them again! need to refill my work bottle!

water- on my 4th cup of tea so that is 48 oz! go me!!!

exercise- will walk a bit later (rode the bike at the gym for 3.5 miles yesterday before class!)

B: Greek yoghurt w muesli and blueberries

L: omelette w salad

Snack: coffee with a piece of wholemeal toast

Dinner:Don't know yet-maybe some deli chicken w salad

1 hour 15 min in the gym doing body combat, a great worout which makes my heart rate go up and I sweat loads!!

Happy Tueday!! One more day closer to the weekend. Hubby brought the girls to gymnastics for me last night, so I got to go walking/jogging. I walked one mile, jogged 1.

Today's Menu: I am 3 months out

B- Carnation instant Breakfast (SF)

L- 3 oz of grilled chicken breast

D- 3 oz of spaghetti meat

Snack- hard boiled egg and string cheese

Water: working on it

Vites: done

Workout: going at lunch and the trainer said that I need to get at least 20-30 more minutes of cardio in at home, so I am going to work on that tonight.

Bfast: 1/2 a veal canneloni from last night's dinner

Lunch: glass of milk and 2 Cookies (yes, I'm a 3rd grader)

sugar-free latte

Snack: other 1/2 of the canneloni

Dinner: slice of naan paneer, paneer korma (Indian cashew-based curry with light cheese)

Workout: ran a mile to the Indian restaurant, walked the mile back

Here's to another Tuesday! (My Monday this week for work! LOL)

B - coffee and two hours later my Protein shake (49g)

L - I have sausage bits and cheese crackers

D - ??? Maybe fish or left over ham

S - Beef Jerky and/or Carrot sticks

Water - Have my 20z bottle at my desk and a 20z bottle for while at the gym

Vita - Take at night

Exercise - going to take a step class after work today!

Morning all! Feeling much better today, actually came in to work! hated that the whole weekend and yesterday was spent in bed, will probably be wishing for that by this weekend!!

Anyway, here is what I have with me at work for food! Not sure if I will eat all or any of it as the cramps are still going on in the Tiny tummy!!!

B- Protein shake, sipping on this for 2 hours now, half way gone

L- pured baked potato Soup

S- strawberry and some mango

D- not sure???

Water - lots of hot tea, makes the TT happy!

vites - got them in today, didn't all weekend

exercise- not likely! I do have to walk over to the gym which is a good 5 minutes there and 5 back! does that count? getting my own balls for Myofascial Release at home!!

Happy Tueday!!!

Got 2.5 miles in jogging yesterday. My speed was not all that great but I am working on my distance and then increasing my speed. Felt awesome! Glad that you are feeling better Patti!!!

Here is my menu today (3 months out)

B- ham roll with string cheese

L- 1/3 cup black Beans and diced chicken (sooo yumm)

D- same thing as lunch

S- 2 boiled eggs

Vites- Gone

Water- working it

Exercise- lunch time and then going to try to shoot for 20 on the elliptical tonight. Suppose to rain so no jogging today.

Hey all, I'm back amongst the living. I had the flu all last week, and really didn't get on the computer much! I'm feeling much better, but have a migraine/sinus headache today! Not too sure at this point what it is, it just hurts!

So my menu looks a little like this today!

B- Barley cakes with PB and banana

S- Protein shake

L- grilled chicken w/ bacon & cheese

D- not sure yet!

vites- haven't taken them since last week, they make the tummy hurt still

water- working on it, not too good today

exercise- need to get back to it, laid around too much last week and i'm lazy now!!!

It is Tuesday!!

Glad that you are doing better Patti!! I was sick Friday with a Migraine and like you have I have not worked out since Thursday. I need to hit the gym hard today!!

Menu: (3.5 months out)

B- cheese stick

L- diced grilled chicken

D- Meatball and spaghetti sauce with a little cheese

S- 100 calorie pk pepper jack cheese

Vites- got them all but one. Will have to take that one at home

Exercise- Gym and HOPING elliptical at home tonight.

Today is an off (ish) day for me!

B - coffee 1/2 Protein shake

L - 3/4 a cheeseburger (just meat and cheese) and a few fries (had lunch with the boss and his wife!)

D - Thinking fish maybe???

S - naughty me! Two mini chocolate PB eggs

W - NONE :( OMG I Suck today!

V - at night

E - I have been doing up and down the stairs at work all day and back and forth to meetings but I'm not going to the gym which I know I should be I forgot a hair tie and my sports bra! :(

      Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
      1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

        All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

      I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

      Woohoo! I have 7 more days till surgery, So far I am already down a total of 20lbs since I started this journey.
