Hello. I'm new to the site from Brooklyn Ny I'm just starting the process. My insurance company is requiring 6 months of weigh ins and I have about 5 different test I have to complete along with a nutritionist and psych visit. I'm in my 2nd month.

I cannot wait. I'm so ready.

I thought about getting the surgery two years ago and never did, thinking I could lose it on my own. I joined weight watchers lost some and gained it back and then some. Just wanted to say I love this site. I go on a read everyone stories everyday. It's great to have such a great support group and an African American one at that. Good luck to everyone.
