sweetcurves3 57 Posted September 3, 2013 Hi my sleeve date was August 19. Down 20 pounds. I am having bad dumping syndrome and had to have an ambulance called after a dumping experience' date=' dehydration , Is this normal. Eating and drinking is still a problem. I am having no major pain. Walking a little a day if I can. It's a long process that I am willing to take. Slow and steady[/quote'] Dumping syndrome is not the norm for gastric sleeve, but my friend had some dumping incident. She did not have to go back to the hospital for it though. On some other forums on here I've heard of some talk about going to hospital for dehydration. Things will get better. 1 1gorgeousgodzilla reacted to this

I took my time and it wasn't so bad and got better where now I am eating half teaspoons of food at a time but still on purred, had my surgery on the 29th. Just take your time. cbware01 12 Posted September 6, 2013 Hi All! I wanted to start a thread for African-American sleevers (no worries I HEART all sleevers from the rainbow). I just thought' date=' no scientific proof, that African-American sleevers may respond to the surgery different than our lovely non-African American sleeved sisters and brothers. I wanted to know if we had the same skin issue, hair problems, and other surgery related issues. Also, how to deal with the culture shock. African-American "soul food" may be something of the past... or not. So I was just looking for a space to voice culture related issues and concens. PS- I TRULY  ALL SLEEVERS. [/quote'] Hello in new to the site just wanted to say hello sisters of faith!!!! 1 Blessedfun reacted to this
