Just started Pureed and stomach feels different!

Recommended Posts

Ok I was sleeved 2 weeks ago so I just started pureeds. I had 2 chicken nuggets today for lunch and a few bites of pot roast for dinner. Now, my stomach has a different feeling. Kinda of like an empty type of feeling. Is this normal. I am super paranoid about my stomach being messed up! Does anyone know what it actually takes to stretch your sleeve? I did have a little mac n cheese last night too and it didnt bother me! But am I eating too much?

You will know if you eat too much, you will have pain and pressure and possibly vomit. So no you are not eating too much. There is a whole new set of feelings to learn with your new stomach. Are you taking an acid reducer?

"Pureed" means put in a blender and pulverized to liquid consistency, or the equivalent (refried Beans mixed with a little water/milk, chunky Soups blenderized, etc)....not solid food and especially not solid, dense meats. Be very careful these first few weeks, you don't want that stuff trying to squeeze through there with all the swelling and unhealed scar, and ending up busting your sleeve open.
