time4me 1 Posted January 11, 2011 I had to stay in hospital a few more days because the drain was still producing Fluid and the xrays were in conclusive but got the all clear today. I'm so excited to start my new life and so grateful to be given this chance to get my health back. I have no scales around so have no idea what i weigh and for the first time in my life i don't care! I know that after a week of hardly any food (first four days was nil by mouth) i can't help but lose and it will be all downhill from here. Well apart from a few bumps in the road and hold ups but at least i know from experience after reading here that i can expect that and not to worry, it's normal. I don't have any pain and feel amazing, i have more energy than before surgery. I'm going to catch up on all the posts i missed and i'll be back with all the questions! time4me 1 Posted January 11, 2011 Thanks my sleeve sisters, it really means a lot to me to have your support. I only hope i do as well as most of the people on this site. I've been on clear broth for the last 3 days and Jello, today i got to eat pureed carrot, potato, and chicken but only 2 teaspoons every 2 hours. So far so good but i do seem to get a lot of hiccups an hour after eating. For some reason i have a back ache today, could that be related to surgery? I didn't have any of the wind pain that some talk about so i don't think it's that. Maybe its because i've been doing a lot more today seeing as its my first day out of the hospital. If i have more questions should i post them here or start a new thread each time. I'm kinda new at this!
