Strange question: girlie parts

Recommended Posts

Ok. So, I've been wanting to ask this but didn't quote know how. I still don't but...here it goes.

Obviously, I am fat. I have all the parts of a big girl including the pouch above my girlie parts. I have come to terms with the fact that my belly will hang be ause it's so big. For those who have lost a significant amount: does this pouch just...deflate? Do you have extra skin to lift to, uh...get THERE???

I need to know. I hope I didn't offend anyone!! Just curious as my surgery date approaches.

Thank you!

Ali

You might want to migrate this topic over to the Ladies Gone Wild folder but I understand what you want to know, I was curious about this kind of stuff too prior to surgery. I don't know what the answer is for people who get to goal or become genuinely thin, I'm not quite halfway to goal.

Your so cute, I don't think anyone got offended, that is such an innocent question. . .I'm out 1 year now and have lost significantly (145+ Lbs) and had that pouchy thing too. . . now at 1 year it's a deflated a bit and hanging, but not too badly, I spoke to my daughters plastic surgeon last wednesday and he said to lose all the weight i have too, then wait for about 6 - 7 months along with exercise and then he'd look again, but he thinks it could do it's own thing by shrinking back, not as tight as a 25 year old, but shrink to the extent he would not have to do any surgery. He thinks too many people who have bariatrics are too quick to jump to surgery. . .so he's not one to do it for a bit after they lose the weight, Hope this helps. . .

P.S. I would take a picture, but that would probably not be accepted too well. . .

I believe its called a "apron" and insurance companies will sometimes pay to have it removed if it causes problems such as infections in the crease and such.I think its called a Pannectomy?

No one should get offended, I sure am not offended to talk about girly bits.

So, here I am 145lbs smaller, and I carried 90% of my weight in my abdomen. That little fat pad is gone, but there is a little extra skin there, nothing that hangs down, nothing droops, nothing that gets in the way, and when I lay down, my bone pops up. I talked to my PCM about it when he did my well woman, and he assured me that with my Tummy Tuck, it will be completely resolved. I know one lady that had some plastic surgery on her area, body contouring is what they called it. They liposuctioned the fat out, and tightened the skin during her tummy tuck and lower body lift. She now has painful sex because the bone protrudes and she has problems wearing under garments because she continued to lose body fat after her plastics. She said her clitoris is constantly exposed which might not be a problem for some, but I can't imagine trying to walk around with no skin covering my parts.

My stomach does not hang over my girly bits either. I can stand in the mirror and see everything clearly even though I have a bit of a fat roll on my lower abdomen still. It's there, I see it, my husband sees it, it's not a flap or anything like that, but it's there. My body keeps changing, and my fat has redistributed a handful of times since getting to goal so I'm thinking that I'm definitely waiting a few more months to have plastics. I've been at/below goal for a year now, and only 19 months post op so I figure if we don't get pregnant by June/July, I'll be 2 years out, and can go ahead with plastics.

Thank you for the replies. Tiffykins, everytime I read one of your posts or answers I feel so much better about what I'm getting in to. Thank you for being such a string presence here. You're amazing. I have another question for you. I carry 90% of my weight in my abdomen also, but it's not a huge, hard belly. It's very soft, flabby & already hangs a bit low. I tried to put a picture up but it wouldn't let me. Anyway it's the worst area for me by far. You say you had 90% in your andomen but was it solid or kinda soft or really soft?

Pretty soft and super flabby with a bunch of hanging before surgery. When I'd sit down, my belly would cover majority of my thighs. . Once you get cleared to do ab/core workouts, I highly, highly suggest hip hop abs for at home work outs for the ab/midsection. I contribute my belly shrinkage to those DVDs. I swear by them, and honestly, they are not tough on the knees. It's very basic, and you can turn the music down if you're not a fan of pop music. It's not hardcore hip hop, it's more like the Pussycat dolls, pop songs, Beyonce etc etc.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
