LESLIEH 68 Posted January 8, 2011 Ok I'm really not a writer but here it goes. At my all time highest I was 309lbs, yes 309 ahhhh. I was sleeved on Nov 9th and I now weight, drum roll plz... 214 lbs, yes I went there and said my weight. Now my scale and I are having some arguments because it's not moving, it's stayed the same for 3 weeks. So I went to a support meeting from with a few girls from this site and I was told I look amazing and so on, aww shucks. After the meeting I told my hubby I actually feel pretty now and I'm not even at goal. Then hubby has to say what all hubby's say when they don't want to be in the dog house, "baby you've always been beautiful." During the meeting it was brought up that I really need to post some before and after photos on here so people can see the difference and yes if your struggling and having issues you will get past it. I went from a ugly duckling to a swan in my book and I'm sooo not done. If I can do this anyone can. 1st pic is a year ago Halloween on my wedding day, 2nd pic is well me again, last pic is me today as of about 4 1/2 hrs ago
coops 1,790 Posted January 8, 2011 Leslieh, WOW... you look like another person; and hey, you weren't an ugly dukling in the first place just a bigger swan... now you are a a smaller swan and 2/3rds to goal!! Congratulations on a great job so far... I bet you feel as good as you look... what are the best bits about losing 96lb? Keep up the good work and thanks for the pics! =]
M2G 1,836 Posted January 9, 2011 What a transformation, wow!!! I love what your hubby said...awwww! Sounds like you lost a lot of weight prior to surgery, and that is something to be proud of too. Almost -100 gone, THAT must feel amazing!!! Thanks for sharing your photos with us...I know how hard it is to do!
LESLIEH 68 Posted January 9, 2011 Yes I lost quite a bit before surgery and of course people tried to talk me out of the surgery, but like everyone else the weight comes back. hee hee not this time. The best part of losing the weight is I'm off my blood pressure meds, my back pain has subsided alot, I'm off my Water pills and I can move around better without feeling tired and out of breath all the time. My one main reason for doing this surgery was my babies and the other was the doctors wanted to do a 3 level fusion in my lower back with a 15% success rate, ummm negative. Thank you so much for the compliments
