Supersweetums 1,164 Posted January 7, 2011 I asked my doctor this same question, and he had said that I could do abdominal exercises after 6 weeks post-op and I shouldn't have any problems. I would go with how your body feels. If it makes you sore, then hold off a little longer.
Cinderella 2 Posted January 7, 2011 My doc also said after six weeks, your stomach is healed and it will be OK to return to any exercise. I am ready to try some crunches too, but plan to start with a WII fit routine as I think it will be gentler.... good luck! Cinderella
sleeveorbust 11 Posted January 7, 2011 I am also just over 3 months out and I have been doing Ab workouts for a while now... I started at probably 6 or 7 weeks out... I feel great ... the natural burn of the workout is normal and I would say you should be able to tolerate them good luck at the gym!!!
