Susanne 32 Posted January 4, 2011 Hi all, I have been tracking my food and exercise using Livestrong/DailyPlate since many years. I am generally pretty happy with it, the food database is amazing and I have a nice log. Unfortunately, they are not able to fix/release a working Android application, so I am looking for something else. What sites are you using to track your stats? Is there an app for it? does it have a big food database so I don't have to enter a lot of stuff? Please advise Susanne
TijuanaPlication 87 Posted January 4, 2011 I use WW and I have it on my iPhone (I imagine they have an android app). Unfortunately it's not free although they do seem to have a lot of stuff in there. I quite like WW but I'm also interested to hear what others use.
BigDawgMark 1 Posted January 4, 2011 I'm using myfitnesspal.com. I'm using Iphone, but I believe they do have it for Android. Works real nice update on the web or from your phone, syncs both sources automatically. it's done everything I've wanted to do so far.
MINI-Me 196 Posted January 4, 2011 I agree ... myfitnesspal.com is great. And, they do have an android app - haven't tried it, but imagine it works pretty well.
IB150 0 Posted January 5, 2011 Another app is "SparkPeople." I have it on my droid. There are two versions, one is free the the proversion costs money but I don't know how much.

Susanne 32 Posted January 9, 2011 Ok I have been using MFP for a week now and I am very happy with it. There are a few thing I preferred on Livestrong, but the availability of the Android app makes more than up for it. I went and backlogged my food for the year for now, and will go and backlog my weight since surgery. I wish there was a way to import my Livestrong food diary too, maybe i'll suggest that to the programmers at MFG. Thanks for the suggestion, I am glad I asked
Susanne 32 Posted January 9, 2011 Oh, and the app is free with a small ad at the bottom. Not much, but I wish there was a pay version
