the pharmacist I contacted said that the prilosec in tablet form should not be crushed. so, my pc prescribed me prevacid that melts under the tongue.

I ran into the same thing, so I crushed it anyway. AND I took it twice a day. Worked fine, though. I wouldn't recommend that for longer term use. I took it that way for 3-4 days. (I just re-read this whole thread and have said the same thing 80 different ways...okay, not 80, but you got the idea...just ignore me at this point! :heh:

The melting Prevacid is PERFECT! Good for you.
