chabutter 0 Posted June 16, 2006 Hi guys, ive been actively with you since march. I just found out that I have been approved for lap band today and boy am I excited!!!! I cant believe it. I am so thankful to God for giving me this opportunity after I thought everything was taken away (I had lost sixty pounds in college, and then gained seventy back when I got rheumatoid arthritis having a year of loss of mobility). I am in pain everyday with every step I take. I hope that losing some of this weight will improve the pain I feel on my ankles and all the other joints everyday. My insurance company, medical mutual of Ohio is strict and boy am I blessed by god to have gotten approval on the first try RA is a very strong, but not listed comorbidity. It is an auto immune disease.
