MommyTawnie 3 Posted December 25, 2010 I am feeling wonderful today, not to much pain anywhere, and I was able to sit and sip some Gumbo juice tonight with the family "made sure there were no chunks" I just keep having this horrible horrible pain in my left shoulder. At first I thought it was caused from the gas, but now I'm starting to think differently. It's a constant pain one that hurts no matter what I do unless I take a muscle relaxer, and apply heat to it. Is it possible for me to have a pulled muscle from my surgery? I don't remember anything at all going in to the surgery room, and the only thing I remember coming out is screaming because of the pain in my shoulder. I am passing gas, and burping pretty well now so I don't know what to think.. Is it possible for gas to still be trapped under my shoulder or could there be something more going on? Also I weighed today and since Monday I have lost 15 lbs.. Holy Cow how is that possible? I am slowly getting back into all of my Protein and things even though the thought of it makes me sick to my stomach. I know my body needs it so I am going to make sure I atleast try to hold it down.. Please anyone thoughts on what could be going on?
Lila21 36 Posted December 25, 2010 I didn't have that particular pain, but I think a lot of people have described their gas pain in their shoulders or backs. But, if it's severe, you should def. call your doctor. I hope that helps!
TijuanaPlication 87 Posted December 25, 2010 I had twinges of pain in my left shoulder, as most people on here seem to have done, I've read it's due to the gas and referred pain from the diaphragm. Mine was only twinges though (ie killed for 5 seconds). If it's chronic I'd contact a doctor.
Tiffykins 673 Posted December 25, 2010 I had a gas bubble trapped in my shoulder/collar bone area for almost 2 weeks. I did stretching to help it move along, but it was still there.
