ButterflyBandita?? 0 Posted December 23, 2010 Well, now that I have lost 30 lbs and am back to my pre-pregnancy weight of 155, my boobies are back to being deflated flatties. Before having my 3 babies in 3 years and nursing them each for a year (is that possible?????), I was a B cup. With all the weight I had gained, they were measuring a DD - which I liked. Now that I'm seeing my boobies revert back to a their former selves, just longer, I'm considering a boob job. I'd like to lose about 20 more lbs and am wondering if I should just go ahead and book something now for March (that's when I anticipate I can take the time off of work and get it worked out with the kids) or if I should wait to see where my weight settles and then move forward. I've never heard of anyone wishing they went smaller, only wishing they went bigger, so I'm not super afraid that they will be too large. Is there anything else I should consider? SouthernSleever 228 Posted December 23, 2010 I"ve heard you should wait for a year after WLS because some of the skin bounces back.
Secret Surgery 34 4 Posted December 23, 2010 I have also heard after you make goal weight wait 1 year.
LilMissDiva Irene 3,282 Posted December 23, 2010 I think that since it's the breasts only it's probably ok to get them larger and not have to wait the year long period. I believe that rule mostly applies to tummy tucks, arm lifts - that sort of thing. I say make your appointment. You can always change your mind up to the point of surgery. Cheers on the new boobs!!! I'm going DD status too when I get mine.

You should wait until your weight is more stable. I use to work for a plastic doctor and you are correct!! Everyone wishes they would have recieved bigger boobies. And try to go with the areola scar and not the ancher scar (for the lift) 1 LilMissDiva Irene reacted to this
Gipsprettyface 1 Posted January 11, 2011 all4me...I love your ticker, where did you find it?
Shontel 3 Posted March 29, 2011 Some plastic surgeons want to make sure your weight is STABLE, that you've been able to maintain and are steady before they will operate. I suggest this as well as your weight will affect the final result you want. Hope this helps!
