we11ro 5 Posted December 20, 2010 Hi Everyone, I am new to the site. I am now 8 days post op. I have noticed that my entry points / bruises are drying but they are hurting. Especially the larger bruise to the right of my belly button. This is the area that hurt the most because of the muscle that was stretched during surgery for the tools used. It hurts even if I bend my head down, walk, turn in bed etc. I have been doing well otherwise. I only take pain med at night but I took it earlier tonight. Is it possible I did too much moving and bending. I have been up and out house since Wednesday. Is this pain just from the healing? Should I be in bed? Thanks! I still have pain by my incinsion sites. I do find they are more painfully when I do over do it. Bending over is painful when I try to straighten back up. Remember we did have major sugery and it will take time to heal inside. I also had a hernia repair. I am on weight and excersise restrictions for 6 weeks. When it reminds me I just had surgery. I take it very easy and I feel better. If you are really concern definately speak with your doctor.
