ATLGirl 134 Posted December 17, 2010 Hi All, I am newbie. I orginally planned on having my surgery with Dr. C in Mexico Feb 10. But after doing tons of research, I am leaning towards getting to know Dr. W. I haven't contacted them yet. I have been very happy with Dr. C's staff and this experience with GPS. I have aftercare set up here in ATL. But I am wondering on the cost of Dr. W's surgery. While price is NOT my driving factor, it does have some weight. Dr C is $8,000. As a self pay patient, this I can afford. Can you give me a range on his prices? I will still call myself, but I want to be prepared. Thanks. Anna
Jonesie 0 Posted December 17, 2010 I am getting the GPS procedure with Dr. Watkins on December 29th. I really liked that the cost of Dr. Watkins included 2 years of follow ups. Every thing's included type deal. He's a bit more expensive that Dr. C but I think him and his staff are worth every penny. I didn't do any research on Dr. C since I live in Cincinnati it made sense to go to the close Dr. I'm sure you get wonderful care and skill with either Dr. Good luck with your decision! genepha 47 Posted December 17, 2010 Does Dr Aceves perform the plication? I thought he did the sleeve gastrectomy but not plication. If he does perform it that's good to know because he is very experienced, especially with revisions.
TijuanaPlication 87 Posted December 18, 2010 I had Dr Lopez Corvala and am very happy with my surgery and the hospital and nursing staff. I am however very impressed with Dr Watkins responsiveness. I did a post after my op and he replied and was very helpful and he had nothing to gain! Hi All, I am newbie. I orginally planned on having my surgery with Dr. C in Mexico Feb 10. Cknorte 7 Posted December 20, 2010 I live in California, and Dr. Corvala was close and made sense. I really liked him, his staff and hospital. I don't think you can go wrong with either Dr.
