6kiddos 18 Posted December 18, 2010 I did the 6 month and didn't have any issues being approved. I also did not have a full weight history...1 dr. appt in 2008 and gym record for 4 months in 2009. I was approved right away.
klus263 9 Posted December 18, 2010 I did the 6 months also with a one on one with a nutritionist. I also had to provide records from 2008 showing my weight. My husband was doing the 3 month multi but we found that you had to have 3 months with an exercise therapist also so he is just going to finish the 6 months instead. Make sure you check the actual qualifications that goes with your insurance.
peatie 4 Posted December 21, 2010 If your PCP is not diligent in note-keeping, then chances are you will be denied. There are some Doc's who document well and the person is still denied. What are the requirements for your 3mo deal?
Brian 0 Posted December 22, 2010 I was just advised today that I was approved by Aetna. Had to do six months with nutritionalist, and did have two year weight history. VSG date jan 10th. Next Ill have to fight about coinsurance because I am now heading into new year. I was stalled because they said I did not have out of network coverage, and had to appeal with my employer and my labor contract. Having read the success stories I cant wait.
