Left shoulder pain

Recommended Posts

I thought I was going to avoid this pain since I am on day 4. I took a nap today and woke up with the most excutiating pain in my left shoulder and my left arm was a litlte sore. I was told that the CO2 gas was the cause. Anyone else have this pain? If so, how long did it last? And, how do I get rid of it? Walk more? Please help.

Definitely walking more will help. Some say GasX strips help too, but I couldn't really tell if it did. If you have liquid pain killer, you may want to take some. I'm on day 9 now and feeling so much better. It will get better every day. Hang in there!

I had it really bad until about 1 - 1 1/2 weeks out! Walking they say helps, for me it didn't make it any better but I kept on walking walking walking!!! I used a heating pad on my shoulder when I was laying in the chair and that would ease the pain some!

I am on day 9, heating pad, and hot Water on the shower to penetrate the shoulder should. I did not have shoulder pain until my jp drain was removed at my wk checkup. Hope this helps:)

I had a bubble stuck under my collarbone for over 10 days. Stretching my arms and crossing them over my head helped get it to move. The heating pad was a lifesaver.
