Guest krisRN Posted December 8, 2010 Had my sleeve done October 27th and for the past two weeks I have been stuck - even gained a few pounds back. I am feeling so frustrated! I had lost 41 lbs... I know some of it is being back to work, my cycle being off, and starting to reintroduce foods. Feel like I should go back to the liquid diet just to gain some control again. Just need to vent. cheechtrish 1 Posted December 8, 2010 Okay- but WOW. 41 lbs in like one month!?! wow. maybe your body is just catching up?? two weeks of no loss? when did you reintroduce solids? (i havent been sleeved yet-so i am just getting info basically!) Sorry you are frustrated!! Guest krisRN Posted December 9, 2010 The 41 lbs is since October 13th... started with the 2 week pre-op liquid diet. I had just started doing purees the day before Thanksgiving. so Thanksgiving dinner for me was mashed potatoes and gravy with a little bit of turkey mixed in. I am now in my last of 2 weeks of soft foods. I'm thinking of going back to the psychologist. I have noticed that even though I'm not hungry, I am still eating more out of habit, and I need to stop! I am defeating myself again as always. Just need to work on the head game! I'm sure it's a combination of PMS, my body catching up, and eating again... I'll get there. Have you scheduled your sleeve?
