dbrjredd 0 Posted December 2, 2010 How many sleevers also got their gall bladder removed? Mine was removed with my sleeve surgery & I am wondering if this awful watery diarrhea will ever go away or is this something I will have to live with from now on? lisabug 10 Posted December 2, 2010 Yes it will. I had my gallbladder out 2 years ago. Once your body adjusts to the digestion, you will be fine. I am having that prob from the liquid diet. liquid in liquid out. There are still some foods that trigger the diarrhea. It is almost like a smaller version of dumping syndrome. Tiffykins 673 Posted December 2, 2010 Once you get on more solid food i.e. mushy foods, the bowels will kind of even out. I had my gb removed 8 months post-sleeve, and struggled with foods causing diarrhea and nausea. I had to cut all fat from my diet, and couldn't eat anything Tomato based for about a 3 month period. My body has somewhat adjusted, but occasionally I still bouts of diarrhea if I eat very rich foods, but it's only on occasion.
