greeneyes 0 Posted November 10, 2010 Hi guys its been a few months since I logged in. I am 6 months out and I went from 200lb to 132. I eat whatever I want to and I still get full pretty fast. I have been going to the gym and my skin has tightened up but I have A LOT of stretch marks. Anyone have tips to diminish these lines??? Also Vitamins still make me sick and sometimes I still throw them up. I was thinking about flinstone vitamins. Has anybody used those??? I also bought calcium chews from Target but it does not specify if there citrate or carbonate. Should I avoid them or use them up??? Any opinions would be great. Thanks! Maddie 9 Posted November 10, 2010 I had so much trouble finding Multivitamin that wouldn't make me sick. Finally my dr put me on prenatal vits and they are working great. I use Calcet lemon chews. They are deilcious.
TexasT 99 Posted November 10, 2010 I use Bariatric Advantage calcium citrate lozenges in the cinnamon flavor. They're chewable and taste great!! I've been fortunate to be able to take regular multi-Vitamins that I swallow, but I know Bariatric Advantage makes them also in a chewable form. As for the stretch marks, I can't help there. I just try to ignore mine...ha! Knock wood - they haven't been too bad so far.
mp8btpc 33 Posted November 11, 2010 Congrats on your success that is exactly what I am hoping for with my results. I was 199 and hope to get to around 140-145. YAY thanks for the update, though I have no advice on the vits. GOOD JOB
lisabug 10 Posted November 11, 2010 Stretch marks- take Vitamin e also use Vitamin e lotion and cocoa butter. I have found that the cocoa butter stick works pretty well. they never go away, but it helps them fade. Try to find citrate. My nut said that it is hard to find chewable citrate except at bariatrics sights. You could take calcium citrate pills if you can tolerate. Flintstone Vitamins aren't the best to take, but better than nothing. Contests on the weight lose!!!

Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted November 11, 2010 I get my calcium citrate chewables from vitacost.com. You can get all sorts of stuff there and they have a flat shipping rate of 4.99 for no matter how much you order,. I also get chocolate calcium citrate chewables from Bariatric Advantage. If you are on automatic shipping they send 60 every 30 days, but they are only 250 mg so you have to eat 2. They are the consistency of a starburst I get my adult chewable Gummy Vitamins from costco. Do not use Flinstones because they are for children and do not have everything you need..
deletedsally 8 Posted November 11, 2010 I get my Vitamins at a health food store. I take the adult chewable by Nature's Plus and a calcium citrate chewable by Solaray. Neither one of these upset my stomach. I steer clear of anything sweetened with aspartame or sucralose.
