I am not sure what part of Iowa you are from but Geniuses and Trinity are two hospitals in the Davenport area. I am in Illinois but right on the Mississippi across from Iowa and I am looking into Trinity Iowa Health.

Today I actually saw a big write up in the paper about Geniuses Health Systems and what a great Bariatric Team they have.

Anyone had sleeve done in Iowa, trying to find out if there are any qualified Drs in these parts!

Yes, Mercyin Des Moines has Dr Cahalan and Dr Smolik..good program, but I dont meet ins criteria and have to pay cash, and I cannot afford what they are asking in the US, so am taking my money to Mexico, where it is a better price....Hope that helps!
