NLWC.Christa 4 Posted November 1, 2010 What are your favorite no-gym-required exercises for Inner Thighs? Any ideas for getting the flab off of this trouble spot? Thanks!
Tiffykins 673 Posted November 1, 2010 Leg lifts with a weighted ball. Lay on your side, hold weighted ball in between your knees, and lift your knees off the ground, hold for a few seconds then slower lower your knees, but do not allow them to touch the floor. You can do the same thing with the ball in between your ankles and that really helps the outer thighs. I started with a 4lb bag of flour since I didn't have a weighted ball. I also did leg swings while standing up, using a chair to balance, extend leg out, tighten your thigh muscles through the movement, keeping your foot flat, do not point toes, and hold your leg out for 10 seconds then swing it back to center. 1 NLWC.Christa reacted to this

NLWC.Christa 4 Posted November 1, 2010 I swear this helped mine! Thigh Toner Oh Wow! You know, I think I might actually have the old "Thigh Master" in my storage room! I'll have to look. Tiffy, that exercise sounds like it would be great for the obliques as well. Unless I'm reading wrong and you only take your legs/knees off the floor and not your hips. MINI-Me 196 Posted November 1, 2010 That's exactly what I thought of when I bought it. It really does seem to help. And, my husband never minded watching me work out with it - haha!

Correct, it does help obliques. I'm careful not to build my obliques up too much because it takes away my waist. I prefer to stretch my obliques instead of making them bulky. I don't have a great waist, and I noticed when I was doing oblique exercises, my waist got wider, so I had to change up my routine. I lay flat on my side, not propped up on my elbow then lift only legs.
