Finally I meet Dr. Riley!

I have had my nutrition class,seen the psychologist......got referrals.....blah,blah,blah.lol Now I finally meet my doctor Monday. Actually the appt. got moved up 3 weeks because they had a cancellation.I am so glad.Now I just wonder what I will have to do after I see him. I have had lots of ultrasounds during the past year as well as cat scans.and blood work.So hopefully there wont be much more to do. I really wanted to have my sleeve asap.But he will probably put me off till January.:/ Cant wait to start my journey!

He's really an amazing surgeon. . . Him and Dr. Michel are both fabulous, and while my heart belongs to Dr. Michel, Dr. Riley and I bonded when he took over my care when Dr. M deployed last year.

For me, Dr. Riley is a bit more straight-forward, won't candycoat anything for anyone. He and I butted heads on the day of surgery because tried to tell me to have RNY instead of the sleeve, but we got passed it, and have a great doctor/patient relationship. He removed my gallbladder and a bunch of scar tissue and adhesions back in February. He's top notch, and truly cares about his patients.

You'll do fabulous, and are in great hands.

He kind of reminds me a little pitbull, kind of fierce, and fiery, but has a heart of gold.
