HCG diet and sleeve

Recommended Posts

No reply. But I wanted to once again say hcg did work for me 6 years ago went from 246 to 199 after 2 rounds. Tried again last year did 2 rounds got to 230s. But after a few months of chgd eating. Sticking with more natural foods adding good fats back in and I still slowly gained to my highest weight of 267. I am still eating well. Cut my portions and am excercising. Lost 12 pounds on preop diet. But really need to lose 100 more. So this is better option for me long term. Oh and I have met many many people who have regained on hcg who have stuck to proticol. If you only have 50 or less pounds to lose hcg is great option. Although my Dr. Kept telling me it wasn't healthy for me. I also have many comorbidities and need knee surgery. Got to get this weight off. I am more 56 and want a long life.

I was down 109 lbs (338 to 229) in 5 months just doing pistol diet. I wouldn't combine 2 diets without talking to nutritionist

I had to join jus tYes I o know it an old post. But, people search all day and weight loss is always something tha has new trends. Therefore, I wanted to make sure people that findthis post withh all this negativity will know that when done properly HCG is amazing. I hae not worked with anyone on this protocol that has regained. Youtube HCGchica and you will see the hundreds that has years of aucceas on that protocol. Im on it again to get done to 135 im already halfway there ànd jus startedthe roun. This protocol ia more mental than anything. Will power equals successo reply. There are thousands of people post vsg that has started gaining after just one year post op. The HCG dud like any diet if not done properly you will gain. Phase 3 is the most important you cards low cayes, ilories it gives list of foods you may add. It say it takes 21 full days for that stuff to be completely out of your system if not you will gain a ton. Most people that has regained from it I'm sure did not follow the last two phases completely. I lost 30 pounds and it never came back it's been years. I also did drops from Walmart . It's your opinion. But, to let you know it's FDA approved and 100% safe. You have to change your way of thinking to be successful on any life change. It works but you have to do it completely I did 30 days followed by 21 days of low calories low carbs only using required foods. Don't cheat yourself.

You do know that you are responding to a post from 2010, right?
I appreciate your input. I am also familiar with Hcg Chica. My curiosity lies in if you can do this during your post op liquids even for just 23 days. I wad thinking it may be a good Idea especially since it uses your stored fat as energy. Or is it best to just go by doctors orders.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
