BlackBerryJuice 349 Posted October 25, 2010 ....have been in my house, UNTOUCHED, for nearly a month. Odds of this happening before the surgery? ZERO.
branc1 2 Posted October 25, 2010 I can relate to that! I bought a bag of halloween candy and even though its open (i gave the grandkids some) I haven't touched it. It feels so good to have that power!
MINI-Me 196 Posted October 25, 2010 Love it!!!! However, even with my sleeve, I think I would have touched, smelled, put down, walked away, come back, touched, smelled ... and then finally given in & had a little taste. Good for you!
LilMissDiva Irene 3,282 Posted October 25, 2010 Good for you girlie!! LOL I just don't trust myself enough yet though, so I won't buy the candy until it's actually Halloween. Not only that, the last kid is gonna get a gold mine!!
BlackBerryJuice 349 Posted October 25, 2010 Good for you girlie!! LOL I just don't trust myself enough yet though, so I won't buy the candy until it's actually Halloween. Not only that, the last kid is gonna get a gold mine!! Haha, I didn't actually buy them - my boyfriend got them as a gag gift when he left his previous job. He's not overweight, but is a major junk food lover, so I confiscated them from him and am keeping them in my house and doling out one candy bar at a time. I did buy myself some dark chocolate and have been enjoying it responsibly - 2 squares a day once every few days. I find milk chocolate too sweet for me these days - and I used to dislike dark chocolate!
Jordien 30 Posted October 25, 2010 I'm giving out cans of soda! I didn't want to tempt myself by having candy in the house. lol! The title of your post made me go.. uh, oh.. . please tell me this person didn't just eat 96 candy bars and end up in the ER!!!
GayleSBennett 0 Posted October 25, 2010 I purchased snickers for the office today. I ate one mini and immediately said yuck. Made me super high from the sugar and it just didnt taste the same. It was AWESOME!! I no longer need candy!! =) (Happy dance) I also had a mini ice cream haagan daz coffee ice cream yesterday. All I tasted was the sugar. Those are off my list too. Its so great to be able to say.. NO, I don't need them. NO, I don't want them. And truly mean it. Have a great day ladies and gents!
juliarh 35 Posted October 25, 2010 I too have a candy-related story -- the other day my son was eating Gummy bears and I said, hey just give me one -- he kind of looked at me and gave it to me -- it was horrible!! Like eating Kool-aid but without Water -- yuck!!! And I used to LOVE gummy bears. no more gummies for me!! Congratulations on the chocolate -- I'm not confident in myself enough to have it in the house. If there were any Achilles heel I might have, it would be chocolate. So, the fact that you haven't touched them makes you a goddess in my eyes!
AutumnLily 77 Posted October 26, 2010 Congratulations on not touching the candy! When I read 97 candy bars I was wow did someone fall off the wagon. And nope you just made it more fun to read the posting. keep up the great progress! Lily
