It leaves your stomach in tact, so if you get something like throat cancer your stomach tissue can be used. Also you don't have the concern of staple line seapage (plus I imagine that getting sleeved must hurt more). Thanks for the reply!! Valid point about the cancer I hadn’t even thought of that. I stayed in for 3 nights as I was in quite a lot of pain, but then the day I got out I flew to Vegas and was mostly off pain meds from then on! Thanks for the reply!! I am still doing my research and getting my paperwork together. I am excited and nervous but mostly I think I am just ready to get on with a heather thinner me! Jonesie 0 Posted December 16, 2010 Hi everybody... This is my first post on here. I am having the GPS procedure with Dr. Watkins on December 29th. I'm really excited. I love reading everyone's positive experiences with Dr. Watkins. I'm 2 days into mybliquid diet and headed out Celebrate my mom's birthday at a pizza joint... Bringing my own dinner.
