Lifting?? for work

Hello all I am 3 to 4 weeks out and I was wondering when it would be safe to start lifting again. I am not sure when weight lifting can be started but I am talking about lifting smaller objects for work, like packages that usually are no more than 20 pounds. Physically I feel fine to do it but I don't want to mess myself up. Any suggestions?

I still have some pain on the left side.. so I'm taking it slow with lifting. I guess just go with how you feel?

My Doc says keep it under 10 lbs for 6 weeks..

My dr says no more than 20 lbs at work for six weeks. I am picking up the kids on occasion and I have already carried shopping bags, but I feel great and try to mostly just use my arms. I am 13 days out.
