PamelaAM 16 Posted October 14, 2010 I have severe (to the point of burning like pain) itching at my incision sites. It woke me up last night and I couldn't get back to sleep for hours. I've tried putting antibiotic cream on and it helps a little bit. Does anyone have a suggestion? It's driving me crazy and keeping me awake at night!

Doesn't heal it but will take the itchy feeling away for a while and it only does this for a few days. No more than 5 mins. at a time Blessings, Mary
sleeveorbust 11 Posted October 14, 2010 i would have to say that this is pretty normal .... its a part of the healing process.. its your body repairing tissue and it creates an itchy feeling! hope it goes away sooner rather than later for you!

sleeve 4 me 910 Posted October 15, 2010 I had itching but no burning. I started putting a thick cream on them each morning/night and it helps

I woke up scratching my stomach in my sleep and had pulled off one of the scabs. ;( The thing that helped me the most was to itch BETWEEN the incision sites. That actually helped out and I felt a lot better. It didn't last for too long, though - so you have something to look forward to!
