sorry mary, i posted in the wrong place and then could not delete it...was just wondering if i would be able to fly to georgia and then drive 5 hours to savannah for a pre scheduled vacation 6 weeks after surgery or is it unrealistic? thanks vicki

That sounds doable as long as you stop a few times along the way during the drive and stretch your legs.

you should be good to go at 6 weeks......you'll probably be on soft foods and a bunch of pounds thinner.....you'll be high on life and happy you gave yourself an early Christmas present.
