Born To Loose 0 Posted June 11, 2006 Hi, I'm new to the area and have decided to do the Lap-Band. I have some questions and wonder if anyone can help. I've narrowed it down to CMC (Manchester), Portsmouth or Emerson (Concord): 1.) In your experience, which facility is easiest to work with? Which requires the less hoops to jump through, has the best staff, facilities, etc. 2.) I will most likely be a self-pay. Does anyone know what the estimated charge will be? 3.) Could someone recommend a PCP ? Someone fat-friendly? Thank you for your help.
diva 0 Posted June 15, 2006 Hi, If you are willing to go to Concord (which I understand just started the program) then why not go the extra 15 miles and go to Boston???? You have your pick of the finest hospitals in the world. I'm using Tufts NEMC but there is also Brigham & Womens, BIDMC/Beth Isreal Deaconess Medical Center to name 3. And you don't know till you try about your insurance. Unless you don't have any at all. Go up to the "search" button at the top of this page. Look under Boston. BTW I don't know a thing about the NH hospitals at all. Good Luck!
