Nutrimed is the preop diet that my surgeon put me on. It is puddings, shakes and other things that have Protein in them. thanks liz, my surg is on the 1st of nov and my doc hasnt mentioned a diet and i wont see him before the day of surg. thanks and good luck on your surg...vicki

I hear you loud and clear. I have been on a pre-opt diet for the last 7 days, I have another 5 days to go before the 48 hour Clear Liquids. My surgery is on the 18th. I'm excited but I think about food all the time. I want to bite into a steak or pork chop. I have been on Bariatric Advantage shakes for three months, but the last week I've had to have 3 or 4 a day. I lost 49 llbs aready but I can't wait until I can taste something that looks like food. It's going to be several weeks at least.
