Wow...so I get on this morning and everything looks different!

Any new features we should know about?

Any other changes?

Hope everyone likes the new design! I am still exploring our new style as well. Alex will keep everyone posted of any new features as he finishes converting everything over.

You will notice that there is now chat in the lower right corner, just like on Facebook.< /p>

I don't see a legend....how do you tell the threads you've responded to? I see that threads I've read are an orangey color....what about threads I've posted in? Is that perhaps blue?

Oh nevermind...I see that little bitty arrow.

Are we allowed to put in requests?

I really liked the static link at the top of the old pages for New Posts...

Now I can only find that by being on the forum index page and I have to scroll to the bottom to find active topics for today.

Any chance we can get two things...a find my posts link at the top somewhere and a New Posts link at the top also?

Pretty colors, but honestly, so far I'm hating it. There doesn't appear to be any New Posts button (at least that I can find), and on most pages there's a HUGE Unjury ad to the right taking up a third of the screen. When I go to my messages, which I need to clean out and make more space, I can't because that ad covers up where I'd normally select the ones to delete. Also, it looks like there's some text running off the right side of my screen that doesn't fit, but there's no horizontal scroll bar to get over there and see what it is. I don't like to complain, but YUCK!

I agree not such a fan but I think that the view new content button on the top right is like the "new post" button

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
