feedyoureye 3,087 Posted October 2, 2010 So I am finishing up all my pre-op meetings, went to the Nut yesterday for my last meeting. She said even though I am all the way into menopause, I could possibly pop out of menopause and get pregnant during weight loss, and at my age there is a huge chance of having twins! Double birth control for a while! Nothing like dumping a bunch of estrogen out of your excess fat all at once to excite those little old eggs hanging around.:wink0:

feedyoureye 3,087 Posted October 13, 2010 Take care girls! I do have one friend who got WLS and bam. Preg. It killed her honeymoon weight loss months, and she never could lose all the weight... good news, she did lose and keep off some of it though. Shes awesome and has a good atitude and a very cool kid. juliarh 35 Posted October 13, 2010 My surgeon warned me about the very same thing -- I said there was no way I was having a kid at 46 -- he said his mother did -- so one never knows -- but just in case, we're being VERRRRRY careful

Globetrotter 1,340 Posted October 18, 2010 My Grandmother had TEN children - by the time she was pregnant with her last one, her first one was married and pregnant too! I have no idea how fertility is passed on, this is my Father's Mother.
